Do you see what I see?

I wanted to share a photograph taken this past week at our home in Amherstburg on Boblo Island, also where our 12 year old Golden Retriever "Basil" resides.
It just so happens, there is quite the population of wildlife on the island and we were able to capture a great moment with our dog, Basil, looking out the kitchen window into the eyes of the resident island "buck". Luckily for the buck, Basil's default response to everything is to stare and wag his tail - not the least bit threatening. Although it does make me wonder, what he might be thinking spotting this animal in "his" yard or vise vera.
