Historic Ham House: Bringing History to Life Along the Loyalist Highway
Uploaded by Ken Macdonald Jan 10, 2013 10:09 PM EST 6202 views
Our friends Bonnie and Ron are a different sort of property developers. When a historic property came up for sale in Kingston, Ontario, they made an offer -- and are now the owners of an elegant home on Earl Street that at one time belonged to the cousin of Sir John A. Macdonald. Recently, they also acquired Ham House, along the Loyalist Highway, that was a run-down rooming house on the main street of Bath. Their passion for preserving our country's history, and restoring some significant heritage properties (at their own expense), makes this couple deserving of mention on Only in Canada!
