An Alternate Winter Wonderland...

I am in San Pedro, Belize, on the island of Ambergris Caye. I have before never traveled to the Caribbean area, at this time of year. It is very interesting to see the people preparing for Christmas.

The lights and decorations are going up everywhere. The is seasonal music on local radio and it is a real contrast to the regular beat of the area. It really is something to experience!

In too short a time, we return to the snow and cold. But, we are enjoying this Winter Wonderland while we can! Yes... we will be home for Christmas.
