I have photographed this mute swan cygnet from the time he was but an egg. Months of sitting with the female swan prior to the eggs hatching allowed me to capture this precious moment close up. The eggs take anywhere from 35-41 days to hatch. This little one arrived on Mother's Day. Pictured here is one of the cygnets peeking out from under his mother's feathers. Swans will typically nest in the same location so I am hoping to capture some great images this Spring.
